PLATO


PLATO automatic breakout sliding door

Evacuation sliding doors function as any other sliding door, but can open wide in case of emergencies and allow free passage to safety.

In normal circumstances, PLATO performs with all the functionality of a sliding door. However,if the door wings are met with pressure, the swing opening function is activeted and the door opens like a regular door. In this way, the PLATO system not only functions like a regular door, but also allows for fast and safe evacuation from a building when needed. PLATO doors are also a perfect solution for places where the need for extra doorway width is to be expected, for example for occasional transfer of large pieces of equipment.
